Up for grabs?

Calling all skaters! Your opinion counts! "NAME THAT GRAB!"
Lets make this a formal introduction to the whole thumb abusing gang and their positions on board. ( Do you like my handy chart?) Slap me with skateboard grabbing terminology, add to my list of bad puns and dimwitted humor or share a related story. Note: Grand Mothers read my blog, so keep it PG13.

GOOFY UPDATE!
Seems I left out half of the skate race by only posting a "Regular" stance chart. Shame on me! BAD KVON! Heres a chart for all the goof balls out there! ;)

Fall

Fall is here and almost gone. I lament few too many photo opportunities. The leaves started to turn, we had a big freeze, the leaves all fell. I am still skating as much as possible, playing shows with Hail The Sound and loving life. I got a new lens and did a few timed shots, cleaning and winterizing the ramp, enjoying the perfect weather.

kairos shoot

I shot some pics for a cool kids clothing store last Thursday. Kairos ROCKS! I dragged my kidos down there to play dress up. As you can see they had a blast. I want a to shout a big thanks out to Carla B. Great job with the store. Thanks for the awesome hats. The boys love them! Here are a few fun, random shots.

HAWK

I shot these pics of my old hawk a few weeks ago, (before the camera was bomb dropped) I want to keep my posts up to date so here are a few pics of my only (for the moment) vintage deck!

My Camera is Broken! :(

Well its official my camera is broken. My wife dropped it a couple weeks back and the lens cracked. I was able to shoot several hundred pictures ( two days worth of shooting) before the lens innards started to completely fall apart. Oh well! I have enjoyed many great years with that lens and it has paid for itself a thousand times over. Now I am on to bigger better lenses! My list includes the sigma 10-20mm, the Nikon 18-55mm, 50-200mm, 50mm 1.8 prime, and 10.5 fish eye! OH YA! As soon as I get some of the new toys I will post a few pics!

A9 senior pics

Out of time, with no sunlight and one seriously broken camera lens... I managed to pull off a few senior pictures for A9. We had no options really, so we dragged an alien B800 out into the street in front of my house and started shooting. It was almost midnight. After two hundred plus strobe flashes, I bet my neighbors thought a UFO was landing.
